The new year has begun, and an entire 365 days lay out ahead of us, full of possibility. It can be exciting! But also, very daunting… What will this year bring? Maybe you are full of ideas and aren’t sure where to start. Or maybe looking ahead draws a big blank. Either way, we have you covered with our Activity Jar (which is a fun activity in itself to put together!) that will keep your family learning and growing all year long.
Not sure where to start? Our Activity Jar printable is filled with prompts to get you thinking about all the incredible things you and/or your little ones can accomplish this year. Here’s how you can put one together for your family!
Things You’ll Need
- Our Activity Jar printable
- A jar you can reach into
- Glue or tape
- A pen or pencil
To begin, print out our Activity Jar printable and complete the prompts in each box by writing in your answers with a pen or pencil. We recommend sitting together as a family to fill it out. That way when little ones pull out an activity, they will be excited to see which one it is, and encouraged to do them since they were a part of the process of coming up with it. You can always print out multiple copies of the Activity Jar printable if you want more!
Once your Activity Jar printable is filled it, cut out each box and the ‘Activity Jar’ label in the upper right hand corner. Secure the Activity Jar label to your jar using tape or glue. Then put all the activities into the jar!
Now you have a wealth of ideas to keep your family learning and growing all year long.
