THE NIGHT BEFORE ST. PATRICK'S DAY
It was The Night Before St. Patrick's Day. Tim and Maureen are getting ready! They deck out their house with streamers and rainbows and shamrocks galore.
They decide to make some leprechaun traps, setting them with shiny things. They hope to catch a leprechaun and find his big pot of gold!
After setting out many types of leprechaun traps, Tim and Maureen go to bed and dream of gold coins.
The next morning is St. Patrick's Day! Dad plays the bagpipe, mom makes green eggs for breakfast, and they all sing an Irish song.
They hear some noises, and rush to check their leprechaun traps...
What a mess the leprechaun has made! Tim and Maureen follow its footprints.
The footprints lead to a leprechaun trap. What's that giggling inside the trap?
A leprechaun! The children demand to know where the gold treasure is. The leprechaun instructs them to head outside and dig the area marked with an X.
The leprechaun had put Xs all over the place! The kids have been tricked!
