Miami-based makeup artist Deborah Ruiz conjures a look Sabrina Spellman herself would be proud of. Not all witches are covered in green skin and warts. This is a perfect look for our low-key enchantresses who do what they know is right (most of the time).
Ruiz’s white-blonde bob is held back with Sabrina’s signature headband, and her deep maroon lip brings her witch makeup to life. The soft blend of deep red-brown along her lower lash line matches the lip color perfectly.

Costume-makeup extraordinaire Julia Wunderlich brings our worst nightmares to life with this witch makeup look. She sculpted the face of her Grand High Witch (from “The Witches” by Roald Dahl) using costume putty from when the witch makes a statement by removing her hair and exposing her disfigured scalp. Wunderlich’s talent with effects makeup is encompassed by this look. We wouldn’t want to run into her on the street.

Creative makeup artist Moose is stunning in her Medusa-inspired look. This witch makeup references the legend of Medusa, a woman defiled by the gods and turned into a Gorgon. Makeup queen Julianna Mur cuddles her gray cat, her familiar we’ll call him, showing off her witch makeup. This look is captivating and sweet. Her dark teal hair compliments her deep red lip color perfectly. Faux freckles and rosy cheeks stand out against her hazel contacts. Don’t forget to pay attention to the tiny sequin stars and moons accenting her soft mauve-purple eyeshadow. It’s bewitching, to say the least.

Penelope Arnold creates an otherworldly look for her witch costume. While we could see ourselves wearing her witch makeup year-round, it is perfect for the mood of All Hallow’s Eve. Arnold defines her eyes with a smooth blend of lusty black, blood-orange, dark maroon and light gold.
Her sharp cut-crease glows orange, red and black. Our favorite part of the eyeshadow is the unusual way Arnold cuts off blending along her lower eyelash line. It is aesthetically pleasing because of how clean the line is.
She offsets the vampy eye look with a bloody red lip lined in black. Her porcelain cheekbones are softly contoured, bringing all the attention to her eyes and lips.

Makeup queen June brings to life this witchy makeup look, inspired by a favorite artist. The witch makeup is devilishly simple, yet mesmerizing. We feel like we’re staring at a doll. Self-taught MUA Charity Leigh took to the ‘Gram with this incredible sorceress makeup look. Her version of witch makeup embraces golden-double irises and shadowy lip color. The runes across her cheeks and forehead are drawn with eyeliner. Her foundation makeup is so well done, and her skin is flawless save for the smudged shadow detail.
Leigh labels her character as Ahmanet, a princess of Ancient Egypt who was promised the throne, then scorned. Legend says that the scorned princess then made a deal with the Egyptian god of death and killed her family. Can we agree she’s both a baddie and a bad witch?
