Back when I owned an Etsy, I did a lot of shipping from my little home studio. I did have recycled envelopes, but they were expensive and I dared not to buy customized packaging because of price and quantity. I wish I had known about noissue because they are so reasonably priced and branding yourself is easier than ever.

What noissue offers…
Tissue: You can design your tissue paper right through their easy-to-use website by uploading your own logo or using one of their templates. It takes three weeks for the entire process of design to delivery. The pricing will vary depending on color, size and quantity, but the starting price is $125 for 250 sheets, single color and size small (38x50cm). Their tissue is FSC Certified which is done by the Forest Stewardship Council, and states the paper is sourced from a forest and supply chain that is managed responsibly and sustainably. It is also Acid Free Paper which is made from cellulose fiber where the active acid pulp is eliminated. The inks won’t transfer because they are lignin- and sulfur-free. This also means they won’t leave any chemicals behind when decomposing. The inks are soy-based which produces more vibrant colors and has lower levels of VOCs.
Stickers: A great way to seal up those tissue papers, these stickers are also printed with soy-based inks on FSC Certified, Acid Free Paper! They are customizable like the tissue, and you can purchase them in either a circle or rectangle shape. They also have two sizes - a small (4x4cm) and large (5x5cm).
Mailers: These are just too cool! Who would have thought there would be compostable mailers? And yes, you can compost these at home and commercially. While I think finding recycled mailers is great, a 100% compostable mailer would the best sustainable option for shipping. These are made from a combination of corn-based biopolymers and they take about 6 months to compost. The PLA used to create these mailers make up barely 0.05% of the annual global corn crop so it’s a rather low-impact resource. They also have lots of other benefits like; waterproof, write-able, stretch, print-able, durable and stick-able! Because of their durability, you can get away with a repeat use and their shelf-life is at least 9 months if stored in a dark, dry place.
Tape: I've never seen customizable, eco-friendly tape before! Their tape is water-activated which allows them to print on non-glossy/wax-coated paper. Gloss and wax are not biodegradable, so noissue has found a sustainable alternative where you use a water activated take dispenser (or a sponge) to activate the stickiness. How awesome is that? And of course, this tape is printed on FSC certified paper with soy-based inks.
After being able to experience their samples first hand, I can say their quality and overall aesthetic is amazing. I highly recommend anyone with a business - or someone who has a lot of gifts to give over the holidays - to use notissue.
