Shower doors can get pretty grungy, especially the soap scum that sticks to the glass, and they can be the hardest thing in the world to clean

When I found this awesome video tutorial by Clean My Space, on YouTube, that described how to clean a bathtub or shower using preventive everyday use of an affordable shower squeegee to deep loosening of the scum using cleaning vinegar and other deep cleaning ideas, I knew I was onto a winner. The job that this ordinary homemade mixture that Clean My Space makes is so awesome and works so well, this is really one of the best cleaning hacks I have found in a really long time. This cleaning idea is nothing short of amazing, and the elbow grease that is put in this method is really minimal because you let this mixture sit inside the bathtub for 20 minutes and the baked-on scum loosens magically.

Materials For Cleaning The Shower Door:

A squeegee (you will want to do this every day to really negate the necessity of a deep clean)
A long flathead mop (such as a Swiffer type)
Cleaning vinegar (it is stronger than other vinegar, regular vinegar is about 5%, cleaning vinegar is around 6 to 10%)
Dawn
Essential oil
Baking soda
A soft towel (for drying the area, so it doesn’t streak)

The first line of defense is to use the squeegee every time you shower. The second line of defense is to spray the area with cleaning vinegar and let it sit for 10 minutes, then mop it off with a towel.
