Buchanan’s Pineapple was inspired by the delicious flavors of the brand’s signature Buchanita recipe, and features a hint of zesty citrus perfectly paired with light caramel and vanilla notes, finished with lingering, bright tropical flavors.
Perfect for elevating vibras—Buchanan’s Pineapple is delicious served in a shot glass with Chamoy and chili-lime seasoning or simply combined with mineral water like in The Piña Fizz. It also mixes perfectly in cocktails like a riff on the popular piña colada, but with whisky, called the Bucha Colada.
Bucha Colada
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Buchanan’s Pineapple
- 2 oz Pineapple Juice
1 oz Coconut Cream
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Preparation: Add Buchanan’s Pineapple, pineapple juice, coconut cream, lime juice and ice into a shaker, and shake until cold. Pour into highball glass filled with crushed ice, and top with a float of angostura bitters. Garnish with lime wheel and Angostura bitters float. Alternatively, make frozen in a blender
Food Pairing: Guacamole and Tostones
Piña Fizz
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz Buchanan’s Pineapple
- 4 oz mineral water
Method: Rim highball glass with Tajin. Pour Buchannan’s Pineapple into highball glass over ice and top with mineral water. Garnish with a lime wedge.
