Elizabeth & Dale are total hustlers & they’ve built an incredible brand. They saw a gap in the fitness space & went for it. On their platform they review & share boutique fitness studios & classes and have most recently launched their own subscription service, Sweat with Sweats which brings these classes right to you.

Get excited because in this post you’ll get some fun, new snack ideas – like, Siete makes hot sauce & taco seasoning ?? I didn’t even know & they’re in my shopping cart already. LOL.

Without further adieu, let’s welcome Sweats & The City to the blog.

Hi TSC, we’re Elizabeth Endres & Dale Borchiver, the duo that launched Sweats & The City.

We met in June 2016 & our blind roommate status quickly turned to best friend/business partner status! We were working finance & fashion & shared a strong passion for exploring the booming boutique fitness scene in NYC.

We would often come home from work, cook dinner, order Seamless, & discuss the workout classes we each took that day. We were always on the hunt for boutique fitness studio reviews so we could choose our next class wisely. And well, there weren’t any! So we set out to create our own.

SATC is a one-stop-shop for all things health, wellness & fitness. We provide honest class & studio reviews nationwide to help our loyal audience navigate the boutique fitness scene.

We have recently launched Sweat with Sweatsa subscription-based platform that brings our followers together through community & connection alongside their favorite fitness instructors & workouts.

As part of the membership, consumers can enjoy a highly-curated schedule of unlimited, on-demand classes & live Zoom workouts. To foster an even greater sense of community, we join all live workouts to interact & get to know our members.

We’re so excited to be on The Skinny Confidential for a 3 part series! Today we’re sharing a day in the life of eating for each of us. Here we go!

What The Sweats & The City Girls Eat In a Day:

Dale:

♡ 6:30AM:

First thing I put in my body is a big glass of water, with a full drop of Sakara Life Detox Water Drops. It’s a great way to detox & hydrate.

♡ 6:45AM:

Coffee. I have a Nespresso ( from the Vertuo Line )- I’ve been loving the Caramel Cookie Pods. I then froth my almond milk to make a cafe au lait.

I put in 1 scoop of Indigo Marine Collagen in the frother for health benefits, but it also makes it extra frothy. I put in a few drops of monk fruit for sweetener & top it off with cinnamon.

Collagen is great for your hair, skin nails & bones, but not all collagen is created equally. I like Indigo Marine Collagen, because it is a complete collagen – more easily absorbed, sustainable & eco-friendly. Also, huge bonus it gives your coffee the best froth!

♡ 7:00AM:

Breakfast is a yogurt parfait. I use Icelandic Provisions coconut flavored Icelandic yogurt, chia seeds, Purely Elizabeth cashew granola, a drizzle of Oat Haus granola butter, blueberries & strawberries.

I love Icelandic yougurt because of the creamy texture, it’s extra thick & smooth! Loaded with protein too.

♡ 10:00AM:

Snack. Apple & a pack of Brami’s. I LOVE these for a filling, nutritious snack.

♡ 12:00PM: Lunch is a Sweetgreen salad. My go to is romaine, chickpeas, spicy broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers, chicken & green goddess dressing with a slice of bread.

♡ 12:30PM:

Post-lunch I’ll have a bowl of strawberries & 8 Skinny Dipped chocolate covered almonds.

♡ 3:00PM:

As an afternoon snack I make a mini cauliflower pizza. I use the Outer Aisle Sandwhich Thins & add Rao’s marinara sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese.

♡ 7:00PM:

For dinner I like to eat a piece of salmon, air fried with some dijon mustard & 21 Salute Seasoning from Trader Joe’s.

I put the salmon in the air fryer for 10 minutes at 400F. I also air fry Brussels sprouts with some olive oil, salt & pepper, & some roasted red baby potatoes.

♡ 7:30PM:

Dessert is an Enlightened cookie ice cream sandwich. They just came out with these new cookies & I’m obsessed – they taste like Tollhouse but have no sugar. I add a scoop of ice cream in the middle – the Enlightened Salted Caramel Cookie or Jeni’s Salted Peanut Butter ice cream.

♡ 9:00PM:

Snack before bed is a bowl of Catalina Crunch Maple Waffle flavor with almond milk.

Elizabeth:

♡ 8:00AM:

I drink lots of water first thing! I’ve also been adding in Thorne Calayte daily to boost my hydration.

♡ 8:15AM:

I love a green juice on an empty stomach – my favorite combo is celery, cucumber, ginger & lemon. I usually make the green juice myself & I’ve been using this juicer for years!

♡ 9:00AM:

Now it’s time for a post-workout breakfast & coffee.

I’ve been really into chia pudding lately – I combine coconut yogurt, almond milk, chia seeds, Sakara Life Metabolism Powder & monk fruit the night before, & top with sliced almonds & raspberries in the morning. I also have a cortado: 2 shots of decaf Nespresso with a splash of Nutpods.

♡ 12:00PM:

Lunch is leftovers from the night before ( leftovers make me sooooo happy !! ).

Chilean sea bass with sauteed spinach, sliced avocado, brown rice & lots of Siete Hot Sauce. The spicier the better in my opinion!

♡ 3:00PM:

Snack time! Most days I’m having an Ezekiel English Muffin with peanut butter & jelly. These are so filling & delicious!

♡ 7:00PM:

One of my favorite things to make for dinner is turkey tacos. I’m usually snacking on Cauliflower Stalks while I make them.

I sautee ground turkey with Siete Spicy Taco Seasoning, & top my Siete Cassava Tortillas with black beans, black olives, jalapeños, guacamole, sauteed onions + peppers & Violife Cheddar. I like to drink a Raspberry Rose Poppi with this.

♡ 8:00PM:

Dessert is Coconut Butter Cups. Yum!

♡ 9:00PM:

Lastly, an ACV tonic before bed – I combine hot water, a TSP of Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar & a TSP of raw Wedderspoon Manuka Honey.

My body loves ACV – I find it to be great for post-meal digestion, balancing blood sugar, & skin + gut health. ( I also use it as a hair rinse 1x/week! )
