For all my Avocado fans out there, I have created this signature guacamole for you all to try at home. In 6 simple steps you can have yourself the best Guacamole you have tasted, pair this with a delicious fresh bean Salad or spread on toast and layer with sun-dried tomatoes. However you have it, its bound to be a winner with any Avocado fans.
Step 1: Choose and cut your Avocado in half and remove the pit. This step is the important part. Choosing the correct Avocado is vital to the taste and texture of your guacamole. For this recipe you will want a ripe Avocado, now theres several ways you can test an Avocado. You can gently squeeze it to ensure its soft enough to mash, it will still need to be firm but not hard. Alternatively you could push off the end nodule on the tip of the Avocado and if its ripe it should be green underneath. Supermarkets are also selling readily ripe Avocados for you to purchase. An Avocado goes from green > brown the riper they get, so you want to catch it in its sweet spot before its too late.

Step 2: Now you will need half a lemon to squeeze over your Avocado to give it a citrusy twist. Fun fact: Lemon helps preserve the Avocado and prevent it browning in the fridge :)

Step 3: Next you need to season your Avocado with a pinch of wait for it Lemon and Thyme Sea Salt. I promise you, you will not regret this. The Thyme works stunningly when combined with the creaminess of an Avocado. Now let us all take a moment to appreciate the #saltbae action shot that is above us.

Step 4: Add a sprinkle of crushed chillies to the mix to give the guacamole some warmth. Note: you can omit these if you are not a fan of the little red demons.

Step 5: Now is the boring part, add the damn pepper people. I defy anyone out there to tell me they dont like Avocado when they havent even given it the most basic of seasoning. Just do it

Step 6: Here she is then, your 6th and final stage to this beautiful guacamole dish. It is time to get creative with your fork, de-stress by mashing your Avocado with the fork until it forms a smooth, creamy consistency.
